Derric had the evening off (which is amazing - he most often works Halloween) and took the kids around the block. This was one of the first Halloween's we didn't have snow.

was ultra excited as he bought fireworks on our road trip home this summer to lite for Halloween. The scenario: Secret agent Lewis lit off his first 3 fireworks in the back yard.
Success!! the kids and neighbours were thrilled. But as secret agent Lewis was setting up his final 4 fireworks two Police officers on bicycle rode down our street. Laying low till the coast was clear Lewis returned to the back yard to carry out his mission. The neighbours were notified and the fireworks deployed. Agent Lewis quickly hid the evidence (in the BBQ) and life returned to normal. A cop car did drive down our road - but it was too late the packages had been deployed.
